Miguel de Icaza is a Distinguished Engineer at Mircosoft and heads the Xamarin Engineering group in charge of Visual Studio for Mac and the Xamarin development tools and IDE components to create .NET applications for Android, iOS, tvOS, watchOS as well as gaming consoles. He was the founder of the open source Mono project which is the foundation for these efforts.
